About Bruno Giacosa
Bruno Giacosa, the Neive house led by Bruna Giacosa, bottles estate fruit as Azienda Agricola Falletto and bought grapes as Casa Vinicola Bruno Giacosa. Barolo Falletto comes from a 10.5 ha southwest-facing amphitheatre of calcareous clay in Serralunga d'Alba; its oldest-vine plot, Le Rocche, is bottled on its own. Le Rocche ferments for 15–30 days in steel and ages about 32 months in large French-oak botti, showing red fruit, rose, pomegranate and orange peel over firm, fine tannins. Barbaresco comes from owned plots in Asili and Rabajà. Red-label Riservas appear only in exceptional vintages. The range also includes Nebbiolo d'Alba Valmaggiore, Dolcetto, Roero Arneis and a classic-method Extra Brut.
