About Domaine Meo Camuzet

Domaine Méo-Camuzet in Vosne-Romanée, run by Jean-Nicolas Méo, makes red Burgundy from estate grands crus Richebourg, Échezeaux, Clos de Vougeot and three Corton sites (Clos Rognet, La Vigne au Saint and Les Perrières), plus premiers crus Cros Parantoux, Aux Brûlées, Les Chaumes, Aux Boudots and Aux Murgers. Cros Parantoux, revived by Henri Jayer, is cooler than Richebourg, with very good acidity. A négoce range labelled Méo-Camuzet Frère & Sœurs covers Chambolle, Fixin, Marsannay and Nuits. Grapes get a 3–5 day cold soak, native fermentation in concrete and light extraction, then about 17 months in a large share of new oak; wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered, velvety and concentrated.
