About Verite

Vérité, the Sonoma estate created by Jess Jackson and vigneron Pierre Seillan, produces three Bordeaux-modelled red blends from more than 50 "micro-crus" in Chalk Hill, Bennett Valley, Alexander Valley and Knights Valley. La Muse, after Pomerol, is Merlot-led (90% Merlot with Malbec and Cabernet Franc in 2021; pure Merlot in 2017) and pairs blackberry and toffee notes with brisk tannins. La Joie, after Pauillac, is Cabernet Sauvignon-led, firm with cassis, tobacco and iron. Le Désir, after Saint-Émilion, centres on Cabernet Franc with lifted aromatics and graphite minerality. Each micro-cru is harvested and vinified on its own before ageing in custom-toasted French oak. Le Diamant is a Sauvignon Blanc.
