About Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue

Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé farms about 12.5 ha in Chambolle-Musigny, led by 7.2 ha of Le Musigny, roughly 70% of the grand cru and all of Les Petits Musigny. Only vines over 25 years old go into Musigny Vieilles Vignes, a red that Decanter's tasting notes often give ten years or more; fruit from younger vines becomes Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru. The domaine also holds 2.7 ha of Bonnes-Mares, 0.56 ha of Les Amoureuses beside Musigny, and 1.8 ha of village vines that absorb its Baudes and Fuées. Its Chardonnay, replanted in 1997, was sold as Bourgogne Blanc until Musigny Blanc returned with 2015.
