About Quilceda Creek

Quilceda Creek, the Golitzin family winery in Snohomish, Washington, makes only Cabernet Sauvignon-focused wines from its own Columbia Valley vineyards: Champoux and Mach One in the Horse Heaven Hills and Galitzine on Red Mountain. The flagship Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, pure Cabernet from Champoux and Mach One, spends about 22 months in new French oak and aims for power with finesse. Galitzine, 17 acres planted in 2001–02 solely to Clone 8 at close three-foot spacing on windblown sandy loam, gives a dense single-vineyard bottling. Palengat honours co-founder Jeannette Golitzin, Tchelistcheff is a single-clone, single-vineyard Cabernet, and CVR, blending vineyards and varieties, is the first release of each vintage.
