About Pride Mountain

Pride Mountain Vineyards, owned by the Pride family, farms 85 acres around 2,000 feet at the top of Spring Mountain, where the estate meets the Napa–Sonoma county line, so most wines combine fruit from both counties. The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (85% Sonoma fruit in 2023) balances power with refinement, showing plum and black currant that turn to cigar box and sage over velvety tannins. Reserve Claret is a Merlot-led blend with Cabernet (72% Merlot in 2020), with dense aromatics. Vintner Select Merlot and Cabernet join Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Viognier, a Chardonnay with only about 10% new barrels, and Sangiovese now led by the Quartz Hill block.
