About Hundred Acre

Hundred Acre, Jayson Woodbridge's Napa Valley winery, focuses on Cabernet Sauvignon from three of its own vineyards, in St. Helena, Howell Mountain and Calistoga, farmed for low yields. Kayli Morgan and Ark are bottled as single-vineyard wines; densely planted Ark, higher on Howell Mountain on ancient sediment, volcanic debris and bedrock, gives powerful, precise wine. Few and Far Between, the smallest site, lies in Calistoga on volcanic soil cooled by Chalk Hill Gap winds. Wraith blends all three vineyards to capture the vintage rather than a single site. Each plot ferments separately in small tanks with long macerations before ageing in French oak; the house style is intense, rich and layered.
